Mamas and Papas identified that choosing a pushchair is daunting task for lots of parents so decided to create an application to be used in store that recommends suitable pushchairs based on a customer’s needs.
Their new flagship store at Westfield London is designed with millenials in mind and places digital interaction at the centre of the experience. The pushchair finder app hosted on touchscreen devices, allows customers to benefit from the Brand’s expertise via an intuitive and quick process.

At the core of the app are 8 questions about a customer’s lifestyle, baby and requirements that inform the pushchairs to be recommended. These 8 questions allow for over 9000 permutations which are made up of a range of 38 different pushchairs and accessories.
As the sole designer and developer on the project, my role included wireframing, interaction design, prototyping, testing and development. The end result was a lightweight webapp with a clean and simple interface that presented customers with recommendations at different price points.
